Shane was out and about Saturday, only a miracle could have produced the results weve seen. Shane continues to grow stronger and refuses to give into osteosarcoma and continues to win not missing a beat. He was up early Saturday morning to meet Nurse Diane, her husband and friends for a day out in the field, four wheel driving, shooting targets and carrying on as if it was just another day, two brothers hanging out together. Praise God from who all Blessings flow. We are so thankful to see him g…

Shoes
I am wearing a pair of shoes.
They are ugly shoes.
Uncomfortable shoes.
I hate my shoes.
Each day I wear them, and each day I wish I had another pair.
Some days my shoes hurt so bad that I don’t think I can take another step.
Yet, I continue to wear them.
I get funny looks wearing these shoes.
I can tell in others eyes that they’re glad they are my shoes and not
theirs.
T hey never talk about my shoes.
To learn how awful my shoes are might make them uncomfortable.
To truly understand these…

Good Morning to all my Family & Friends,
Shane was up early under the hood and eager to diagnose the mechanical problems with my car. He has a code scanner coupled with the internet ..it's amazing what he has taught himself to do, his prognosis was to replace the battery and restart the system, however due to physical limitations, the cold weather, and not being out of bed for so long limited his valiant attack and he quickly returned to his room and fell fast asleep.
Yesterday afternoon w…

Years ago, a farmer owned land along the Atlantic seacoast.
He constantly advertised for hired hands. Most people were
reluctant to work on farms along the Atlantic. They dreaded the
awful storms that raged across the Atlantic, wreaking havoc on the buildings and crops.
As the farmer interviewed applicants for the job, he received
A steady stream of refusals.
Finally, a short, thin man, well past middle age, approached
the farmer. "Are you a good farm hand?" the farmer asked him.
"Well, I can…

Somewhere someone's praying
Down upon their knees
Lifting you before the Throne
With love and gentle pleas
Asking God to give you strength
To face another day
And when the night is darkest
Shine light upon your way
Somewhere someone's kneeling
To whisper your name in prayer
Knowing that you need to feel
God's love and tender care
They intercede on your behalf
Because they love you so
Knowing that you have a need
To their Father they will go
They pray when you're not able
To speak a single…

HOT CHOCOLATE
"A group of graduates, well established in their careers were talking at a reunion and decided to go visit their old University Professor, now retired. During the visit, the conversation turned into complaints about stress in their work and lives. Offering his guest hot chocolate, the Professor went into the kitchen and returned with a large pot of hot chocolate and a assortment of cups-porcelain, glass, crystal, some plain looking, expensive cups, some exquisite, telling them to…

Since this is Lung cancer awareness month, according to Ivanhoe Newswire- there's a new weapon in the arsenal to help folks with lung cancer fight for their survival, the researchers are looking at a "Vaccine" for this disease and the clinical trial is going into a phase lll.
Cancer cells emit a protein that makes them invisible to the immune system. The vaccine works by revealing the cancer cells to the rest of the body. Now the immune system can see them and attack.
