The average person has a major hardship at least once in their life. I've had a few. Praising God in the midst of it is hard, but can have the greatest positive effect on your life.

Through childhood abuse, Financial stress in my early 20's, and Physical problems (being diagnosed, I think falsely with MS) in the late 20's, and suffering through losing a baby in a miscarriage, I was ready to give up.
